Myths About Laser Hair Removal
While laser hair removal can work for some people, you’d be amazed at the amount of false claims that are made about it. In this article I’ll be going through some of the more common things that people say about laser hair removal and why they are wrong. You should be aware that I’m not trying to say that laser hair removal doesn’t work, just that you have to be a bit selective about what you believe!
Sometimes you will hear that there is a guarantee of no regrowth of facial hair after laser treatment. While some people might experience this, the reality is that most people will have some sort of hair regrowth and you can’t make that claim for everyone. For some people the treatment won’t work at all, so if you see any guarantees you should immediately be suspicious.
You also should be suspicious if someone uses terms like “laser electrolysis”. These are actually two completely different forms of laser therapy, each with their own benefits and disadvantages. Often this is used to try and get people to think that the clinic is offering a new treatment combining the two when in reality they have just repackaged an old treatment under a different name.
It’s a shame that laser removal companies feel they have to resort to underhand tactics to get customers but some are also completely honest too. It is best to try and find the most honest hair removal specialist in your area so that you know you will only get the truth. Ask around for people who have already used different clinics to see what they thought before deciding on a final choice.
